San Francisco Tours Capture Heart and Soul of the City

Whether you\'re a native Californian or a visitor from another state or another country, San Francisco and its surroundings leave an indelible impression. The vibrant city life takes place against a backdrop of breathtaking natural beauty, both of which can best be appreciated by participating in San Francisco tours.

Both first-time visitors and locals can learn a tremendous amount about the City by the Bay when they take San Francisco tours. Knowledgeable tour bus drivers can provide you with colorful stories about the city\'s many unique neighborhoods. You\'ll undoubtedly have the opportunity to see San Francisco\'s most notable districts, like Chinatown, Japantown, Haight-Ashbury, the Castro, and Nob Hill. You\'ll also see the famous twisting Lombard Street and the city\'s quaint cable car system, as well as architectural wonders like the Golden Gate Bridge. Fisherman\'s Wharf is a wonder of sights, sounds, and scents, while Pier 39 offers unparalleled shopping and fantastic eateries.

A San Francisco charter bus company may also offer Alcatraz tours, so you can learn the history of some of our country\'s most notorious criminals who were housed at the maximum-security prison. You\'ll also pick up information that you may not have known, such as the Native American occupation of the island, the military uses of Alcatraz, and the unique flora and fauna that is found on the island.

San Francisco, of course, is the perfect launching place to visit other scenic areas of Northern and Central California. No visit to California would be complete without participating in California wine tours. In contrast to Los Angeles, Napa and Sonoma provide an atmosphere reminiscent of days gone by. Your senses will be filled when you visit wineries located on gorgeous estates, with exquisite restaurants and the opportunity to taste world-renowned California vintages. Whether you\'re with a large group in a charter bus rental or you\'re traveling alone with other visitors in a tour charter bus is the perfect way to spend a leisurely day visiting California\'s premier wine country.

When you\'re visiting California, you\'d be remiss not to participate in Yosemite tours. With its majestic peaks and breathtaking waterfalls, Yosemite is the crown jewel in the National Park system. When you visit Yosemite in a bus line charter, you\'ll have the opportunity to learn about the history of the park, as well as to view the same vistas that renowned photographer Ansel Adams captured decades ago. Soaring granite domes are a testament to the incredible geology of the area, while the lush plants and trees hark back to a time when nature was king.

A World Cup Guide to Berlin

Out of the twelve German cities to play hosts to the FIFA 2006 World Cup Finals it is Berlin - Germany\'s capital - that has arguably the most important role to play. It is in this city on Sunday 9th July that two teams will contest the final game of the tournament, and one of those teams will claim the ultimate prize in international footballthe World Cup.

The stadium in which the Final will take place is Berlin\'s Olympic Stadium - the very same venue that was used for the 1936 Olympic Games where Jessie Owen claimed four gold medals. In preparation for the FIFA 2006 World Cup finals the Olympic Stadium has undergone a complete renovation. Some 242 million euros were invested to bring the stadium into the 21st century. Work was completed in July 2004, and in September of that year Brazil met Germany for the inaugural international game.

Aside from the World Cup Final on 9th July, Berlin\'s Olympic Stadium hosts a number of other World Cup matches. Brazil play Croatia here on 13th June, Sweden take on Paraguay in Group B on the 15th June, and Ecuador will attempt to defeat the hosts Germany at Berlin on the 20th. Ukraine face-off against Tunisia on the final day of group competition in the tournament too, while Berlin will be home to the first 2006 World Cup quarter-final on 30th June.

Berlin Sights

Berlin has so much to offer visitors this summer. There are world famous monuments, parks, restaurants, shops, museums and a zoo to take in. Two \'must see\' attractions that should top everyone\'s list are Brandenburg Gate and the TV Tower.

Brandenburg Gate

Arguably Berlin\'s most famous monument, the Brandenburg Gate towers 20 metres high into the Berlin sky. It was built in 1791 and survived the conquest of Napoleon, but was badly damaged in the Second World War. For years it stood as a partition between East and West Germany as part of the Berlin Wall. Today, it is a symbol of a reunited Germany.

The TV Tower

Affectionately known as the \'toothpick\' the TV Tower near Alexander Square is the second highest in Europe. It can be seen from almost anywhere in the city and offers spectacular views from the viewing tower and restaurant. On a clear day you can see up to 25 miles out into the German countryside. It\'s well worth a visit!

Seven Ways To Get Travel Discounts

Do you love to travel but don\'t have the money to take all the trips you want? What if you could cut your travel costs? You might be able to take more vacations or finally visit that special destination you\'ve been dreaming of.

Finding travel discounts does take a bit of legwork, but in this age of computers you can do a lot of the legwork right in the comfort of your own home. You can find discounts on airfare, hotels and car rentals at major airline and travel web sites if you want to invest a little bit of time in surfing the web.

But getting discounts on your airfare and hotels aren\'t the only way to save on vacations. Here\'s seven things that might help you cut costs the next time you take a trip.

1. Shop around for the cheapest flight online either at the airlines website or the big travel sites. Airlines offer discount tickets periodically so you should check their sites often. The big travel sites have specials as well and it can really save some time if you register to receive an email when a discount to your destination comes up. Don\'t forget to check these sites often since you never know when a good deal might pop up.

2. Look for web-only discounts offered by hotels and airlines for people who don\'t mind making reservations online. You must commit to your reservation but sometimes you can save half the cost with one of these specials.

3. Check on detour flights other than the straight one you\'ll most likely get when you inquire. Your total flight prices can be cheaper when you take two flights instead of one. Some people save thousands booking their flights this way.

4. Check out package deals for your dream vacation as you can usually save a bundle and it\'s a bit more convenient for you too. Packages that combine airfare and hotel can be had at a steep discount compared to what they cost when paid for separately. Even better, try to get a trio package that combines airfare, hotel and car rental for a really great travel.

5. If you\'ll be staying in the same hotel for more than 7 days, call ahead and ask if they have any week long stay discounts. Sometimes you can get a free day or a bit off your overall price.

6. Travel to great vacation places that have a low cost of living - the prices there will tend to be a bit less than other vacation spots. Malaysia and the Philippines are good examples where both have great scenery and tourist spots but prices are reasonable. Make sure there is plenty of English speaking people there unless you enjoy the challenge of communicating with people who do not speak your language.

7. Once you\'ve gotten all your travel discounts on hotels and airfare, you can still save some money on your vacation by buying food at the grocery and cooking it yourself instead of eating out for every meal. Restaurants tend to have cheap food that might not be the healthiest so do your wallet and your health a favor by eating in. Of course, you\'ll want to make sure to get a hotel room that has refrigeration and allows for cooking too.

Late nights and lazy lounging in cosmopolitan Cape Town

The inhabitants of the beautiful seaside city of Cape Town,
South Africa, are notoriously easygoing. And even though the
Mexican idea of siesta has not been instituted here, the concept
is certainly not foreign to any deserving Capetonian. No wonder
the Mother City's social scene is bursting at the seams with an
exciting mix of laid back lounges , serious clubs and trendy
bars with a decidedly African twist.

Ironically, one of the coolest hangouts in Cape Town, is called
Joburg. Even though most South Africans travel long distances
without blinking twice, an invitation to party in Joburg doesn't
necessarily mean booking a flight to Johannesburg. This
legendary bar-club is situated in the bustling, cosmopolitan
Long Street, and attracts an extremely varied crowd - from
trendy locals, grungy art students and international models to
part-of-the-furniture regulars and weathered backpackers. You
might even find the occasional businessman enjoying an after
work drink, seamlessly blending in with the relaxed atmosphere
of the place.

The quirky, predominantly red interior is enhanced by a mirror
ball shaped like the Johannesburg skyline as well as an
impressive permanent collection of work by famous local artists
including such respected South African icons as Conrad Botes,
Doreen Southwood and Brett Murray.

Adjacent to the bar, is the relatively tiny dance area -
jokingly reffered to as Pretoria - where some of Cape Town's
best DJ's do their thing. The eclectic sounds they produce are
synonomous with Joburg and include anything from serious
Hip-Hop, to Electro Eighties Pop and Live Jazz. From the wall of
the raised DJ-box a neon sign declaring the sentence Know thy
worth, casts a sexy glow on the good looking crowd getting down
with it, below.

For latenight winding down, head a block further up the road to
the equally fashionable Marvel, where you'll most definitely
find the religous Joburg crowd getting their latenight fix of
vinyl scratching, while lounging in the bistro-style seating
till the early hours of the morning.

Further down the street, the choice of venue is as diverse as
the many cultures housed in this city. At Orchard Bank sip on
fishbowl-sized cocktails in the minimalist lounge, or head to
the huge dancefloor in the basement, where a mixed crowd dances
to anything from House, to Pop and Reggae.

Diagonally opposite, down a hidden, narrow alley, is the sleek
Miam-Miam where early night drinks can easily turn into late
night dancing. But if you're not in the mood for a squeaky clean
crowd, head upstairs to Zula where Cape Town's Goth crowd
headbang to the dark sounds of serious Metal, Goth-Funk and the
occasional live band.

On the otherside of town, in the slightly more commercial
clubbing hotspot of Somerset road in Greenpoint, devoted
clubbers rub shoulders with students on mid-week booze binges
and trendy suburbanites looking for their fix of serious
dancing. Here, designer hangouts like Opium - a winning
combination of stylish cocktail lounge and serious dancefloor -
and the more definitive clubbing hub, Confessions, draw polished
crowds who are as serious about their fashionable attire as they
are about their dance moves.

On a prominent street corner in this district, Cape Town's
oldest and most famous gay club, Bronx, is situated. Here
predominantly gay men and a rather strong following of straight
women come to enjoy good music and incredibly good-looking
barmen. The varied crowd inevitably includes some
straight-guys-in-the-know, hoping to find a beautiful girl with
her guard down.

If any or all of the above sound like too much of a commitment,
head over the mountain to the breathtakingly beautiful Camps
Bay, where you can have a quiet drink in a sophisticated
cocktail lounge while soaking up the sun and enjoying some of
the most spectacular sunsets on the African continent.

With a happening social scene and such a wide range of
incredibley cool venue's, Cape Town is any holiday maker's
paradise. No matter what your preference or mood - if you plan
to visit Cape Town with the intention of winding-down, you're
most certainly on your way to the perfect destination.

Hotels in India

Hotels in India have an infinite variety that you can hardly fathom. Much like the diversity of its national culture, the hospitality industry in India too has different ways of treating different guests coming from different parts of India as well as from all over the world. Hotels in India have understood that the only way to survive in the rat-race is by providing anything and everything that a customer asks for. The hospitality industry has taken up the arduous task of providing guests with an unprecedented level of comfort. Be it hotels in Mumbai or hotels in Delhi, the wish of the guest is their order. People stay in hotels for various reasons and the hotels are trying to identify the exact requirement of the guest in order to provide customized service.
The economic growth of India has had an impact on the hospitality industry too. Traveling is now no more limited to leisure tourism only. People travel extensively for the sake of business and the hotels are cashing in on it. Today, the utility of a hotel is not just limited to being a place for relaxation, it is also used as a place of meeting. No wonder, hotels across India are furnishing themselves with meeting facilities. Hotels in Pune and Mumbai, the economic nerve center of India, are making sure that the guests on business tours get the best of facilities and are not troubled by petty matters. To help them focus on the business, the hotels are going all out to make them as comfortable as possible. Food too is not a problem. Whatever your food-habits are, vegetarian or non-vegetarian, hotels throughout India will serve you according to your choice of food.
Making hotel reservation in India is not at all a difficult proposition or a cause of concern. Most hotels now-a-days have the facility of online hotel booking. With the click of a mouse you can reserve a room in luxury hotels across India. If you are on a tour and are on the look out for unadulterated luxury, there are many hotels in India from which you can pick and choose.
Eco-tourism is gaining momentum and hotels are upgrading their facilities so that people who come to enjoy nature do not end up confined in a jungle of brick and concrete. Travel and Food Do Mix Just Use a Big Bowl

Did I mention Food?

While the French are right into nouvelle cuisine (in other words, not much for helluva lot) you can be certain that in an eastern European restaurant or cafe one meal and a side salad between two people is more than enough.

I really should have known after our Zagreb experience:

* Great Indian Restaurant - Light meals with rice and wine and beer. Result: Full as a goog for under $AU50

* Croatian Restaurant - Main meal and side dish with water. Result: Full as a goog for under $AU25.

We get into Sofia, Bulgaria and make our way to what appears to be a trendy restaurant and bar. Admittedly, we probably got the wrong meal, but two big plates of cold meat and salad and one bottle of wine (by appointment to the King of somewhere) later, we would have been knocked over by the price. That is, if we were able to get up after cleaning up the plates.

The price of less than $AU16 was a bargain even with the entertainment of the establishment\'s owner trying to open the wine, then just about smashing it into the marble table as the cork suddenly decided to part ways with the bottle.

An elementary knowledge of physics would tell any casual observer that when that moment arrived, the corkscrew hand was going to go up and the bottle hand was going to go down. Seeing the bottle hand was near the top of the bottle, there was no way of cushioning the bottom of the bottle from the impact of the marble only 5 centimetres below. As in a train wreck, I knew of the result but was powerless to prevent it happening. They make bottles strong in Bulgaria, as the only breakage to be seen was the composure of the restauranteur. Fortunately, unlike Humpty Dumpty, he was able to put it all back together fairly quickly and we all pretended nothing happened. It had no noticeable effect on the wine which was quite good.

We decided that we would have a good lunch, so headed to the cafe that my wife, Brenda had spotted - mainly because of the cakes on show. It turned out to be an Italian establishment, and, as we later discovered, highly regarded. The only off putting element was the proliferation of what appeared to be mafiosi tucking into - you guessed it - large portions of Italian food. (as we walked around Sofia, we realised that just about all the men looked like gangsters!)

Brenda ordered a meal with a potato side dish, but I, wising up to the very large meals, skipped the side meal and went with the main course. Lucky that. After going through 350 grams of Pork Milanese (they mention the weight of all the foods on the menu - including the salads) in addition to what could be termed old style chips, I could not fit in another thing. Except, of course, the \small\ serving of bread which I don\'t know the weight of but guessed to be about half a kilo. It was beautiful bread, but I just could not finish the last two bits.

Was going to ask for a doggy bag, but thought it was a bit rich as the swanky place charged us about $AU30 -outrageous!

Now that we are on the train to our eagerly anticipated Turkey leg (no pun originally intended, but why not) of the tour, we have the luxury of a litre of bottled water, a weird looking block of chocolate, two tic tacs (1 orange and 1 mint) and a single piece of pizza the size of Lichtenstein. We are in for a $AU4 feast.

Vsichko hubavo to all.

Aliens Adolf Hitler and the Mystery Villa in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands

Aliens and Adolf Hitler might not seem to have much in common. But lying in isolated mountainside in one of the most secluded areas of the Canary Islands lies an spacious villa that has given birth to mysterious legends about both

This spacious villa lies hidden from the world nestling between the mountains and the wild Atlantic ocean on Fuerteventura. It can only be reached after a hair raising drive along a dirt track in the mountain borders. The sheer isolation of Villa Gustav Winter holds a mystery which has yet to be explained.

This mystery starts with the appearance and position of the villa itself. It is surrounded by land which has exactly the same shape and proportions of the island of Fuerteventura itself. And the villa\'s location within this enclosed replica corresponds geographically to its true position

Was this location and shape the result of exact mathematical positioning, a signal to some alien life form or just sheer fluke? The truth will probably never come to light but theories abound.

German-born Gustav Winter arrived on Fuerteventura in the 1930s. He worked for a large company that had just acquired a great expanse of land in the south of the island - the peninsula of Jandia.

Winter became known for his mysterious dark glasses and accompanying black dog and was responsible for building the first port at Morro Jable. However, it is not for these reasons that he is best remembered. His name will always be connected to the small isolated hamlet of Cofete where he built the villa that later gave birth to countless myths.

Originally, the villa was said to have been built to establish agriculture in the region. It was modelled on a villa built in the Black Forest in 1893. But rumours began spreading after the appearance of armed guards accompanied by large dogs started guarding the walls of what was becoming more of a fortress than a villa.

Anyone trying to get to the villa had to first identify themselves to the guards who would then call Winter. If they were granted permission to enter, they then had to travel along a dirt track road which, according to urban legend, was built by political prisoners held captive at a concentration camp at Tefia. An airport runway was also built there and put at Gustav\'s disposal.

Rumours were flamed after accounts from people allowed into the villa described the five rooms in the attic as being completely tiled over, of a large kitchen and of vast dark cellars and caves stretching under the villa and into the mountainside. Were the tiles to stop any radio signals being picked up by eavesdroppers?

And why would such an important engineer as Gustav, who held the rank of Colonel and who was at the forefront of an important shipyard in Bordeaux, hide himself in the middle of nowhere to practice farming while his country was at war? He was a man of considerable importance - at a time when his country needed him most, would he really hide himself away in a fortress in a remote island with its close proximity to the sea and an airport runway? Would he really shelter in a fortress built of solid walls with ample cellars and a kitchen large enough to feed a small army?

Allied ships were frequently attacked by German submarines that surrounded and protected this small island from prying eyes. Historical accounts now tend to suggest that Villa Winter acted as a safe house for top escaping Nazis most probably heading to America. It\'s isolated location next to the Atlantic and its natural mountain shelter would have been an ideal rendezvous point for Nazi leaders arriving by submarine and seeking a safe haven until they could slip into anonymity after the war.

Another myth that has grown is that the villa was a halfway house not only providing safe haven but also a hospital where plastic surgeons operated to give their overlords new faces to match their new identities.

In an interview shortly before her death, the widow of Gustav Winter firmly denied the allegations levelled at her late husband over the years. She denied that the villa had ever had connections to the Nazis or that it was built as a hideaway for Adolf Hitler - she said the infamous villa was built for the simple reason of exploiting agriculture in the area.

But the sheer size of Villa Winter, its isolation and the constant guard patrols would tend to suggest that this was never destined to be a family home ringing with the sound of laughter from happy children

Flotation Devices

Most expensive Yacht owners spare no expense in flotation devices. Ship owners, US Coast Guard and the United States Navy have invested thousands if not millions in flotation and drowning prevention devices. There are companies, which specialize in just making and selling nifty flotation devices. One Canadian company Waterkite, whose technical team are self proclaimed marketing geniuses believe that such flotation devices are the only way to go. But let\'s face it face it flotation devices can only be thrown 50 yards at maximum and you have a man over board and traveling away from them at 20-35 knots, it is not even going to get close.

I therefore propose a small \puffy\ UAV or unmanned aerial vehicle, which can be hand launched to the potential drowning victim. This device would look like an exaggerated model airplane, which needs a diet or looks like it belongs in a cartoon of some type. This device would not be any more complicated than a GPS with a dial on it and a push button to start the battery which runs the propeller, point and shoot. Ever turn on an Alpha Numeric Pager; add a dial and throw it, it is that simple.

UAVs in the future will have many more military applications than are being used today and the lists of commercial uses and killer aps is growing. Here are some other UAV uses or potential application.

http://worldthinktank.net/wttbbs/index.php?s=c0f56a3fb1530e29f7e9bab6a3779b76&showforum=23

http://worldthinktank.net/wttbbs/index.php?s=c0f56a3fb1530e29f7e9bab6a3779b76&showforum=236

To bring this particular FFD Flying Floating Device application to the general understanding of the public and what the future of UAVs can mean, you may wish to take a look at this article to see just how useful something like this could be:

http://ezinearticles.com/?id=80489

Some may criticize and a few have for introducing future technologies in this way, but to them we must say; why don\'t you read Caleb Carr, Ben Bova, Arthur C Clark, Tom Clancy, Michael Creighton who write about possible futures which should be looked at. If folks think we should not write such articles for the masses, then they should never go see a Sci Fi movie or future action drama? People want to be entertained and it is a good way to teach them, because they often do not think about how these technological advances can help people, they look at research and development spending for military as wasteful. Yet we know that people are dying and drown every day; last week 2000 deaths from the Flood from Hurricane Stan remnants in Guatemala and remember the flooding from the levee breaches in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina?

Getting a flotation device to a drowning victim is about the best thing you can do and the faster the better, therefore a flying flotation device makes sense. Often rescuers hesitate and do not make good use of their tools or the latest technologies and are complete afraid. Often they are so busy trying to be safe that it takes them 15-minutes to get locked and loaded and ready for the rescue. This is a known fact of real men, who are forced to use procedure rescue techniques that take 10-minutes to complete. Some say this is a sorry excuse for a human being who is suppose to be a tough guy, that is many people\'s take on it as they watch the firemen slowly put on their safety gear or police pull over and put on their vests in the middle of a back robbery going down, before rolling to the scene? What about the people who are going to be shot while they are getting ready? Serve and protect, just turned into, protect yourself forget about the public. This is such a common occurrence by so rarely addressed. If humans cannot get it done, use robots and technology and lets save some taxpayers some money in all these training of first responders for such things as sexual harassment at FEMA. We can build these FFDs or Flying Flotation Device units for under $1,000 on economies of scale.

Furthermore you can also watch penguins, seals, dolphins, sea otters and ferocious sharks swimming through the clear blue water. Food at Sea world works like a catalyst for your tour, any meal you get is superb in its quality.

Vacationing in Orlando with kids. Try an Orlando Villa.

Orlando, Florida is a wonderful place to vacation, especially if
it is a family trip. The Orlando area has all of the famous
theme parks and attractions that will entertain the little ones
from sunup to sundown. After the decision has been made to take
the family to Orlando for a vacation, the next step is deciding
where to stay in the city. Orlando villa rentals are the perfect
answer when looking to find a spot that will not only be
accommodating but economical as well. Furthermore, there are a
number of reasons why renting a Florida villa in Orlando is the
best bet for families with children.

Spaciousness of the Accommodations

If you are traveling solo to Orlando, perhaps a hotel room would
be more applicable because you don\'t need much space if you are
alone. However, when traveling with families, Orlando vacation
home rentals are the perfect way to ensure there will be plenty
of room for all. Children especially need the room to run and
play without having to worry about annoying other guests with
screams, horseplay and of course, the occasional temper tantrum.
Also, one doesn\'t want to have to restrain their little ones on
this exciting Orlando vacation as the trip is really for making
the young ones happy as can be. By staying at a rental home in
Orlando, the parents can feel more relaxed knowing that they
aren\'t cooped up in a cramped hotel room constantly wondering if
they are being too noisy for the rest of the hotel guests. Not
to mention the extra room! Sometimes it is nice not to have to
be on your best behavior and to simply enjoy your vacation.

Private Pool

Children of all ages love swimming pools and the fact that most
Florida villas for rent in
Orlando have these private pools on their properties will
delight and occupy children to no end. The children will be able
to play happily in the pool without having to be told to settle
down all the time. The existence of a private pool on the
property also helps out the parents as well. By having a smaller
pool which their kids can swim in, the parents do not have to
constantly search to find their little ones in a sea of other
people\'s children. This makes it easier for the parents to watch
their kids and make sure that safety is a main consideration.

Children Can Have Their Own Rooms

When a family rents an Orlando villa for their trip to visit
Walt Disney World, Epcot and other parks, most likely each child
will be able to have their own room while staying at the Florida
villa. Not only does this provide a spacious spot to keep each
child\'s individual belongings but it also makes the child feel
like they have their own place where they can go to be alone and
read a book or play. This also makes a world of difference when
it is time to go to bed as children that stay in the same room
together are often up late talking and playing. Lack of sleep
makes for a cranky child the next day and a cranky child makes
for a cranky parent, and then nobody can enjoy the vacation.

Washing Machine and Dryer

Potential Orlando vacationers who have small children will
surely understand the advantage to having a washer and dryer at
their disposal any time of the day or night in their Orlando
rental. With children, frequent dirty clothes are inevitable and
sometimes is seems like the washing machine and dryer is
constantly going. And when on vacation, you probably have even
more dirty clothes. By having a washing machine and dryer right
in your rented Orlando vacation home, one does not have to waste
time by doing a 2 or 3 hour stint at the local laundromat. This
leaves more time for fun for the whole family. For the simple
reason of a washer and dryer you should choose to stay in Orlando villas as opposed to
a hotel room.

Outdoor Recreation

Families with children know just how important outdoor
recreation is. Fun sports like whiffle ball, Frisbee, and
playing catch are activities that make a child\'s day. As one can
only spend so much time and money visiting the theme parks,
there will often be times on vacation when the kids just want to
go outside and play. When staying at a hotel, there are certain
rules against ball playing and other sport-related activities on
the hotel property in order to protect the other guests from
being hit by flying balls, etc. By staying in a rented Florida
villa, the kids will be able to play in the backyard freely and
not have to worry about the hotel staff yelling at them for
roughhousing.

Kitchen Amenities

Having a kitchen in your rented accommodations is another
wonderful benefit to renting an Orlando villa. If the family has
to eat out for every meal, this can become quite costly,
especially if it is a large family with many children. By having
kitchen amenities available, the family can choose to cook a
certain number of meals at home thereby allowing for extra money
to be spent on more entertaining activities or souvenirs.

Children\'s Games and Videos

Many Florida vacation
rentals you will find may have games and videos already in
the home for the purpose of keeping the little ones and adults
entertained. The variety of games range from board games to
Disney videos and perhaps even Playstation 2 games depending on
the Florida vacation villa. These are great ways not only to
entertain the kids but to have a little family bonding time as
well. Then, when the kids go to sleep the parents can enjoy a
DVD or video as well.

Traveling with children is often hectic and challenging, but it
will provide wonderful memories in the long run. By renting an
Orlando villa, the family will have access to some if not all of
the previously mentioned items which will help to make the
vacation even that more spectacular and enjoyable. If you are
planning a Florida vacation, then take advantage of Florida
vacation rentals and really enjoy your time off.

Discount Travel and Overcoming Obstacles

Getting away from your cares and worries by traveling to exotic places is something every human being needs to experience. Studies show that vacations make employees more productive and happier. They make students more well adjusted and they are one of the best things you can do for your psychological health.

It\'s obvious that people love to travel and that vacations make us better people, so why do so many vacation dreams go unfulfilled? Almost any one you ask can tell you about their dream vacation. They know where they would go and what they would do, but something always seems to be holding them back.

What stops most people from taking their ultimate fantasy vacation is cost. International and domestic travel is not usually a cheap undertaking. You have to pay for travel to and from your destination, accommodations during your stay, food, and entertainment for the duration of your trip. The cost can and does add up and this is what most people cite as the main reason their fantasy does not become a reality.

New and better ways of doing business are changing things however. Internet technology is making travel much more affordable. Discount travel sites on the Internet are enabling vacationers on even the tightest budgets to finally take the trip of a lifetime. Discount travel sites are a great source of discount vacation packages, travel vouchers, discount cruises, and more.

If you really want to maximize your travel savings, there is yet another alternative. Discount travel sites are often part of a vacation club. The sites are run by individuals as separate businesses, but they are all a part of the larger club. Sales of the club\'s packages and products are rewarded with greater income for the site\'s proprietors. There are clubs that advertise up to 75 percent savings on vacation packages for their members.

Discount Travel Business Opportunities

This is an ideal way to turn your love of travel into something that can make you money as well. Discount travel site proprietors not only earn discounts as part of the club, but they also earn excellent revenues from their site\'s sales. The total compensation these entrepreneurs receive in income and discounts can be extremely high.

If money is the only thing standing between you and your vacation dream, then your goal is closer at hand than you think. Discount travel sites and vacation clubs are ready and willing to help you find the best vacation deals available anywhere. These are people who are passionate about travel, just like you, and have the skills and experience to get you to where you want to go, so start packing.

Jeff Mills is a former Youth Pastor of 9 years, who is now a full time internet information entrepreneur, author, speaker, sales coach, and also an avid traveler. Jeff has passionately pursued seeking the best discount travel clubs and has discovered Coastal Vacations Travel Club to be the top of the heap. Eclectic Barcelona What a Blast

Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Europe. From a general liveliness to museums to attractions, Barcelona has it all and definite eclectic flare.

Eclectic Barcelona - What a Blast

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, an autonomous area in the south east of Spain. The city sits directly on the Mediterranean coast and the population is over 5 million in greater Barcelona.

At one point in time, Barcelona was a Roman military camp. Throughout history, the Moors, Visigoths and various other powers have conquered it. All have left imprints on the city, which gives it a certain eclectic atmosphere.

Spend any time in Barcelona and you will fall in love with Ciutat Vella, the old city. Ciutat Vella lies at the heart of Barcelona and retains some of the Roman architectural structures and walls. It truly feels like stepping back in time and you roam the streets taking in the atmosphere.

La Ramba is the main road running from the center of the city down to the harbor. Make sure you wonder up and down the full length of it. The boulevard is an eclectic gathering of people, bizarre little booths, an epic opera house and a great place to just watch people. When day turns to evening, you can dance the night away in a zillion different little bars and clubs.

If architecture is your thing, Barcelona is a gem. Antoni Guadi lived and worked in Barcelona. Guadi is known for his drip like architecture, which has to be seen to be believed. His legacy can best be found in the Sagrada Familia, the church he was unable to finish before his death. Started in 1882, construction continues to this very day. The Casa Batllo and Casa Mila are two other Guadi creations worth a visit, but any of his structures will make your jaw drop.

For museums, Barcelona also has an eclectic collection. The Fundacio Joan Miro has early works from Pablo Picasso. The National Museum of Art of Catalonia contains large sections of older structures in the city that were transferred prior to demolition. A city within a museum, if you will. Following the eclectic them of Barcelona, the museums open and close at truly bizarre times. There seems to be no rhyme or reason, so make sure you find out before going to one.

Whether you call it football or soccer, Barcelona has one of the dominant clubs in Europe and just as passionate supporters. FC Barcelona is a religious institution unto itself. If you are in Barcelona during the season, make absolutely sure you go to a game. The crowd is mad with passion, but there is never any violence. Whether you are a football fan or no nothing about the game, you will be swept up in the atmosphere.

If a trip to Europe is on your mind, you will find it hard to beat Barcelona as a destination. Keep in mind, however, that it will be very, very hard to leave Barcelona once you get swept up in it.
